First Impression of Samsung Corby Pro:
This phone is like that Nokia N97 (mini) and first look suggests that its an answer to that. Although the QWERTY keyboard with a slider gives a very business oriented look but all the social media and geo tagging features make it work for the youth and teens too.
The Real Experience ( of course which matters most)
Although the touch technology introduced in this hub is pretty much responsive like the Iphone and Ipod, but still it seem as if there is a lot of inconsistency in the touch design. I am saying this because some times the screen will start zooming and running and at times it will act like snail. the logos for different application on the screen are some times confused with scroll and select commands too so I guess this is the major disadvantage of this phone. Apart from this the phone seems to be user friendly and incorporates a very friendly TouchWiz UI. Features like Facebook and other social media apps with Geo tagging etc has the ability to make this phone highly youth oriented and like-able. the QWERTY slider keyboard is poorly manufactured and the keys are very narrowly separated hence giving a tough time while trying to write and email or sms. The camera is so so for this kind of a phone but with 13 Frame-per-second the video quality really proves to be a menace and hence is not a good buy if you are looking to make videos on the run with your phone. The call quality and in-call features are ok but it will really take longer calls to figure out what each in- call feature is made for and its detailed functionality. The media player streaming sound and ring tones of Samsung corby Pro are Ok.
The Final Word:
If you are looking for a highly sleek and trendy phone then Samsung Corby Pro will adequately fulfill your need and style and is a comparatively cheap and inexpensive substitute for iphone.

I bought this ph on 2nd March,2010 and switched to Nokia 5800 on 17th March 2010 AFTER THROWING IT IN THE BIN the reasons are:
1>It promised a dictionary but it's not there.
2>Connecting the ph via USB is a mess, it never happens....3rd class software and driver support...it has to be uninstalled and reinstalled several times.
3>The camera dont have a flash so in dim light no snaps can be taken.
4>The keyboard is slider one, but within 7days it became so loose that it became very irritating!
5>The screen resolution is terribly bad.
6>The picture msgs cant be downloaded...it doesnot support.
7>It confirms on the website that it supports java, but no .jar or .jad files can be installed.
8>The sound quality is sickening.
9>The Ringer is so slow that it cant be heard from the next room!
10>The secondary camera cant be used!
SO I THINK SAMSUNG SHOULD REFRAIN FROM MANUFACTURING MOBILE PHONES INSTEAD GO ON MANUFACTURING TOY PHONES TO ENCHANT KIDS....TRUST ME EVEN THE KIDS TODAY WONT GO FOR SAMSUNG MOBILES.!!!
